What Should We Wear?
· As a general rule – solid colors are always best. When photographing a family, the portrait will look complete it the entire family is in harmony. Clothing that blends harmoniously creates timeless portraiture because the viewer’s eye goes directly to the faces.
· Formal Portrait – Solid color, long sleeve, medium to dark tones look best. Our darker canvas backgrounds are recommended for this style portraiture.
· Contemporary Portraits - If dark clothing is worn with a light background this will give a more contemporary image. White or light clothing on a white background is also a very pleasing look. We can also create a great look with Black & White photography.
· Casual Portrait – Do what ever you want. Jeans, tee shirts, bare feet or whatever. Feel very comfortable just laying on the floor. Be the real you.
· The white background and muslin backgrounds are perfect for this style. We welcome the family pet too.
· Outdoor Portrait – Anything goes except big bold patterns and colors. Ideal for the family who loves the outdoors.
